I didn't know what to think. How? Oh, man did I think that. That was a bit frightening. I was just trying to do my utmost well but I had no idea how long I thought there could be still room to grow.

Souzuka had taken her training as instructor since she was 16 and that was enough. She had moved out from a small village to Tokyo where she was growing vegetables in her garden but she wanted to make some money as well. So she was planning on going home for five years.

My heart sunk as I knew my future with that particular job would probably leave my life like something out of movies. But the world did not have any money for the future as it did not exist in the old world, where I had always lived.

In reality even if I had grown up to run a small business, I never wanted to see it go to waste and end up bankrupt or worse. But to survive like that had been impossible for some time in the long past and I wanted to come out of it as quickly as possible.

I had no desire to leave everything behind but to try to make some money. So the problem that I faced was to get a job. If I didn't have to, I simply was going to have to do other things and what I had not spent enough on was food.
