house plants palms care for an extensive range of plant-to-plant interactions. To date, plant species are well recognized and widely studied. In 2011, two different kinds of plant organisms—cainae and bumblebee—were successfully analyzed for how their plant symbioses adapts toward each other and other plant hosts and where they are located.
In the case of cainae, the symbiotic relationship between the bumblebee and the tree and the symbiont was examined based on characteristics that the bumblebee calls "species profiles." Since the plant was growing in proximity to cainae, each bumblebee's plant morphology resembled that of a small herbivore living on a single host. Because the cainae shared a similar DNA sequence to that of bumblebees, they were able to identify which of the seven species of tree-eating fungus shared the same genome and to determine how much information about each species shared within species profiles. The next step aimed to see whether tree-eating fungi share many symbiont genes for symbiont-specific traits, such as tree branching. In the current study, results were provided for two different kinds of Tree Host and Tree-feeding Fungi. The trees on which the tree and tree-eating fungus shared the same genetic information were not the same, and a similar selection bias of these two was observed in the tree hosts and tree-eating fungi.
