As for the president himself, I am certain that he will not do what the majority of Americans want him to do in this new government. However, the more we see his record of government inaction in his own right, the more that reality sets it down that Trump is, on nearly every important issue, going after the most unpopular, important Americans.

In May a group of scientists revealed that the Arctic sea ice extent has dropped by nearly a third over the last 75 years, and many Americans have been left wondering how bad climate change actually is. Yet, Trump did not acknowledge the obvious. "We're going to have another 35 years under Obama, and the ice on our side is gone," he proclaimed on April 19. Yet to me it was absolutely necessary (I am going to show why) to take away the ice from the United States.
