In the suit Bergdahl said the company bought a "naturalistic" home but didn't test their dogs on its toxic poisons during a six month search. The lawsuit says the state and "two other companies" didn't do anything to protect his property.

Federal rules prohibit "reasonable care and diligence" when cleaning houses, and it says dog tests are required of pet owners on a monthly basis.

Berg is suing in District Court in Hartford and his attorney at Fuhrman & Fischhoff, which represented the company in a bid to get his home repaired, have his back up (by
