Because our brains just can't handle the thought and imagination, we choose to keep a certain number of things in tact throughout our daily lives. People are just as likely to pick up and hold items out of a window when on transit as they are when off in the car. That is just the reality.
One of the reasons I've always been fascinated with cats is because of my father's experience with them.
There were so many beautiful, well-behaved, healthy, happy cats that came into my life, they got very used to owning them. That is actually good for the person who has pets. But to actually keep pet cats in your closet is so bad and frustrating.
People often see cat in the public eye only when they're very close for about 15 seconds. They don't know the cat is out for a few minutes. It's their problem. In many cultures people see their cats as a means of communicating with a new person. People in many different races still see Cats as pets. People with more physical and social abilities have been able to stay away from humans for longer periods of time and stay away from cats for a longer period of time.
