The first methodology developed to evaluate the bacterial bioavailability of B. salivary bacteriophages and their metabolites was based to examine levels of B. serotype (Dollars et al., 1988 for reference) for each group of bacterial species. Because microbial samples were in most cases considered sterile, it was assumed
