And yet, despite the apparent importance of a 'green' economy, all that will have to happen is for the government to provide money to build a new, clean, and growing 'green' economy in Scotland.

The Green Policy Institute has called for a 'complete, integrated approach' if Scots are to make their voices heard about the issue.

If we are to achieve this without 'reform' or austerity, the government needs to have a 'green economy'.

But this is not at cost to the economy.

I spoke with our co-author, Mary-Rise Taylor, of the Government's Scottish Green Policy, a think-tank.

With just a couple of weeks to go until the Christmas 2014 General Election, we know this is a challenge to Scottish voters. So why would they want some kind of an 'Green' economy?
